Is there a way a can get away from my parents for winter vacation?

Hi i was suppose to go live with my bestfriend who lives a couple states away for winter vacation
but now my parents are saying i cant. i'm so effing mad at them..
Is there any program, or something that allows me to be in a safe place, but in a different state far away from my parents. maybe new york, or chicago, or something like that.
thanks. i'm really into music if that helps.. lol.

When you finish school and are totally financially independent , then you will have the priviledge of making your own decisions. As long as you are dependent on your parents, your decisions are limited. Wanting to be someplace else, having parent problems is common, but, you need to do your best to work out your problems with them...not the answer you probably hoped for...but it is reality.
