Is Dubai a great place to go in the holidays?

I'm going to Dubai in the holidays and i don't know if its a good place to go in the holidays? any ideas??

I will be going to Dubai on holiday for the third time next year. Dubai has grown out of the desert in just over 50 years from a small fishing town. The size and architecture of buildings is awesome. There is a lot of up market hotels and resorts and very little budget accommodation. The old town is worth a look as is the gold souk. There are massive shopping malls, good beaches and excellent food. Alcohol is only available in hotels and some restaurants, you cannot buy it at the supermarket at all.

A new mono rail system is in the making but taxis remain the best way of getting around. There are a lot of sporting opportunities from golf to camel racing. I like scuba diving but would not recommend it anywhere of the coast of Dubai. There are loads of opportunities to get out into the desert in four wheel drives for various activities.

Crime is very low and don't forget this is a muslim country with strictly enforced decency laws.

Nice place but men are dirty pervs and can be flirty with children like in turkey but not all of them just find a good spot and ya should have a good time

i am from uae i live in dubai it very nice no taxes and it is the best to viste i can tell that people there are kind but alot odf trafic. u will get used to it. there is the ocean and the desert safari and there is abu dhabi beside it 1 hour away it is very nice to go there.

dubai is a good place but only artificialy and there is 2 much hot here. If you want to visit a verry good place go to lebanon:best nightlife, best nature, historical monuments, best food, and best country
