so what do you call people from Durham and the Tesside area?
cos they talk like the gorides to

People from the teeside area are called 'Smoggies', Durham people are apparently called 'Mackems' because they come from around the Sunderland area.

Durham - still Geordies, and Teeside they are called Smoggies. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geordie

The people from North of the Tyne are GEORDIES, not gordies, the poeple from Weirside are "MACKEMS"....there isn`t a term for Durham folk that I know, from Tees side, they are from Yorkshire so they are "TYKES"
