Try the Crown Bar (opposite the Europa Hotel) located in Belfast City Centre. This is the oldest bar in Belfast, and comes with a traditional story behind it. The bar was owned by two men, a Catholic and a Protestant (Im assuming you know the aggro about that here) The Protestant guy wanted to name the Bar "The Crown" after the British Queen, and the Catholic agreed only if they could tile a picture of the crown into the floor, so the first thing people did when walking into the bar was walk all over the Crown. You can't get more traditional than that in Northern Ireland. Across the road from The Crown is the Grand Opera House, which is designed beautifully inside and out. On new years eve they have a Pantomime of Aladdin playing at 1.30pm and 5.30pm, these are very fun and star Belfast's local cross dressing celebrity May McFrettridge. This show is a bundle of laughs and you should definitely go see it just for the Queen of Comedy May McFrettridge :-)
Hope I helped
