Opposed to what Ray and Rugr... writes, it is possible to get very good Danish made chocolate.

Cadbury, Toblerone and most other mass produced chocolates can be bought all over Denmark - my guess is that you want to find the really good kind of chocolate, that costs a bit more.

I would suggest Summerbird Chokolade - it is really really good - it is what i would call gourmet chocolate.

And they also sell it in the department store named Magasin, located Kgs. Nytorv 13. Basicly Magasin sells a lot of really good chocolates - you could try their own selection to. Yummi.

Yes, i'm looking for very good quality/ gurmet chocolate/ pralines. Thank you very much for Summerbird, will try. Have you heard of Amokka and Bojesen? Are those any good? Thanks!

Denmark isn't exactly famous for chocolate and in fact I would say thay they cannot make decent chocolate. Forget the chocolate shops and take a bar of Cadbury's Dairy Milk with you.

Don't hold you breath. Lived here for 3-4 years have not found anything that hits the tase buds (Still trying) Many other countries make far better chocolate then here in Denmark. Belgium, Germany to name but two. You may get some imported chocolate, Danes are great people but there is no point in asking locals (Danes) because everything that is made in Denmark is the best in the world, in their opinion.

Go ahead and try some and you will know what I mean
