For house prices, go to, http://www.fotocasa.es/

Jobs are very difficult to find unless you have a specialist skill and speak perfect Spanish.

The best way to get a job in Spain is to get one before you come here.

Spanish companies prefer to employ Spaniards.
In Catalunya, you cannot even work as a street sweeper without perfect Catalan, And what foreigner has that?

With 20% unemployment, it's NOT easy to get a job.

Where are you from? Cause that makes a BIG difference on that one.

Housing is pretty similar to basic housing in the US. But then, not knowing where you are from, I can't tell you really.

There are websites where they sell real estate, and you can search there, and get an idea.

In Spain, housing is generally MORE expensive/desirable in the cities, than in the suburbs.

The website I have given you the link to below contains hundreds of useful articles and How to Guides to help people like you relocate to Spain. As Dart rightly says, things aren't too rosy in Spain at the moment as far as Employment is concerned so you would be well advised to do some thorough research before making any decisions.

Getting a job is not easy just now, but it depends what you are qualified for??and if you can speak spanish...........
As for buying property .........just now if you are lucky enough to have cash in hand, its a buyers market, ..............around where I live folks who wish to sell property are doing so privately, cutting out agents, so their pay doesn't come from the asking price....................
Its great living here, I have been here 28 years, paper work can be a bit of a pain sometimes, but keep everything legal from the beginning you will have no trouble at all.
