Urgent help required re visiting sweden?

Question

my friend lives here in the uk, but his girlfriend lives over in sweden, he is allowed ot go visit her for 3 months at a time but it has never been told to him how long he has to return to the uk before he can go back to sweden!

please can someone try and help as his 3 months are nearly up and he needs to come back but needs to know if he can book a return flight for in a week or 2 time

this is just a general question so please don't leave nasty comment

The Swedish Embassy website is on the link.
Click on 'Contact us' for the phone number and email address and ask there. Sweden is a member of the Shengen Agreement so the visa may be a Shengen visa or simply one for Sweden and different rules may apply. I didn't find the rule for return visits on the site.
