Getting a job in Russia (Gap year)?

I'm in year 12 and currently learning Russian outside of study so that I can carry it on with economics at university, but would like to go out to Russia for a year to become more immersed in the language.

Will I be able to get a job out there? Probably teaching english....I've only got 2 years to study and that would generally be about 4-8 hours a week, so I'm not going to say I'm going to master it by then.
Anyway, chances of getting a job? What industries and, of course, what location?

Go there during the summer just to see how it's like. Moscow is nice and the chicks are hott but there are a lot of unsettling things there.

It's not worth it!

Just go with some friends to Russia for fun during the summer. Don't do anything stupid and quick!

THIS IS TO THE RUSSIAN AMERICANS READING THIS! STOP GIVING PEOPLE GIVING PEOPLE THUMBS DOWN FOR TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT RUSSIA.

WHY DID YOU COME TO THE USA IF RUSSIA IS SO AWESOME?

I was planning to go for summer, before university! Moscow is what I'm interested in most, and I know that would be best for a foreigner...

Thanks for the concern I guess...I'd be going to learn the language mostly anyway, but I know Russia has some big problems!
