Has anyone been to Amethystes hotel in Les Deux Alpes? What's it like?

According to Trip Advisor, which publishes reports from people who have been there, this hotel has raised its game in the last year and whilst there were some discontent about a particular room, and about some of the food (bangers and mash) served two years ago, all the recent reports have been positive and complimentary. Nice and helpful staff. Homely. Conveniently close to the ski lifts. Pleasant food. Recent visitors, having read past reports, went there with some trepidation and returned entirely satisfied and found it good value.
