Gift stores/ Souvenir stores in London?

Question

Hi,

I am a french student and i am in London for a whole year. I would like to buy some typical british souvenirs/gifts to my relatives but I guess there must be other stores much cheaper than the one around Marble Arch or Oxford street.
If you know places where i could find such things or other ones which worth it (low prices, original stuffs...) especially in east London, I would be delighted to hear about them!

These stores are everywhere! Just go to the touristic zone (central london) and you'll find one in every sing corner! It's amazing there are so many, really especially in Piccadilly Circus zone. Have fun

Try checking on the internet, but otherwise it's the Oxford st ones you're stuck with. How many tourists get to east London for shopping? Portobello Rd have some fun things, but a bit priceyer still.
