Travel sickness when drinkin alcohol?

Question

i have to go out drinking tonight for my friends twenty first but we have to get a minibus there and back as we live in a very small village in the middle of nowhere and i suffer with travel sickness quite a bit. i really want to go out but im worried of being ill on the minibus. i cant take any tablets as i will be drinking alcohol and cant mix the two together. any ideas on how to help with motion sickness when drinking would be really helpfull

i hate travelling due to the same thing. I find that when sitting on a minibus it's best for me to sit at the front so i can concentrate on the road and just keep my eyes forward. Do not sit on a seat which is above a wheel as this can make your nausea worse. do not read and don't jerk your head around to much as this causes imbalance and add that to the ride causes nausea. However on my journey back all i want to do is sleep so unable to help on the return sorry.

noway to hep but not to mix drink and not to drink too much.

have a cup of milk first thing in the mroning before you drink to avoid vomiting.

Drink milk first to line your stomach. This really helps for all sorts of reasons. Eat well. Drink lots of water too. Take your travel sickness pill well in advance and not just before drinking and the alcohol will have less or no effect on the travel sickness pill.

Go easy with the alcohol.
