Working in Northern Ireland?

Right now I live in BC Canada and I work as a medical office assistant. I didn't go to school for that I just have experience. I'm wondering if I would even have a chance at getting the same kind of job over in NI? or would it be best if I had some education as well? I have dual citizenship and am wanting to go back to NI next year some time.

Thanks

Additional Details

Well as a medical office assistant there are many different roles. I am a file clerk, so I deal with all the files, finding them for doctors, faxing records and so on. I also have a different role, I do the billing and I type up letters for doctors and so on. I also check people in at times.

It will depend on your level of general education.
!st level is up to GCSE Standard minimum 4 grade "C" (exams done at 16-17 years old)
2nd level is up to "A" level with exams done at 18-19 years old
3rd level and above is degree level.

For a care assistant a good general education is required. That would be 6-8 GCSE at grade "C" or above and would have to include English and maths and science. This would give you the stepping stones to more study to become a paramedic. Nurse or theatre technician. To be a doctor you need a degree with 6 years at university and a very high level of education to get there
