Marriage between Iranian girl and Emirati man...?

Question

My Iranian best friend (girl) is in a serious relationship with an Emirati man...
They are planning to get married and as far as I have heard, Emirati men are not very loyal to their wife...How true is it? They easily go for a second wife when they want and I'm so worried about her because she is my best friend and I don't want her to regret something later in her life...Is it possible that he is playing her? Do Emirati men marry Iranian girls? What about his family? How is the relation between Iranians and Emiratis? BTW, by character she is a modern but also eastern lady and she doesn't wear hijab but she is modest also she is Sunni...

Well, regarding relation between Emiratis and Iranians, "Tin m" gave you the correct answer already.

Otherwise, I can say only, that you can find men who are very loyal to their wives and you also will find others. It's all up to a man personally and got nothing to do with his Nationality. Nobody can answer you if he is serious or just playing. Your friend should know best. But why should he want to get married if not serious? Yes, Emirati men marry Iranian girls. I know two. Both are also modern girls, but wear Hijab out of respect for their husband's families.

In cities it's not very common that a young Emirati has more than one wife. Cases I know, couples are much older and the wives agreed.

Well I don't know too much but I do know that many of the Emirates from Dubai are actually by some generations ago Iranian. I also did hear that they are not very loyal, but in the sense where they just become unfaithfull to their wives notnecessaryy marry a second one, however that I cannot tell you if that is really true or just a rumor because I do not know. Regarding her character, I think she will be fine because many Emirates are actually quiet modern themselves.

Don't listen to hearsay , you can't judge a person character based on that. While there is a percentage of UAE citizens whom ancestors originated from Iran , they are mostly Sunni and some are even Arab , but the Iranian-originated families are known , and there is nothing wrong with them having UAE citizenship , after they have been in this country for ages. But most of Dubai locals are ethnically Arabs though , and their families are also known. She just needs to ask around about the family pros & cons ...
