I'm trying to book a hotel and they all seem to be full! Surely it's not just because it's nearly Christmas... is it?

It will be because it's only two weeks out from Christmas. Lots of Christmas parties going on etc. I had the same difficulty finding somewhere last year.

Hmm i dont know of anything special going on, it must just be because its nearly christmass like you said.

There is usually a fairly large German market thing going on at that time of the year, could be because of that.

Courteeners! They have a concert and they an enormous Manchester band! Loads of people are going.

Also christmas markets are on and it is 2 weeks or so until christmas so everyone is partying, shopping etc.

Also, Manchester is generally VERY busy!
