Travelling in australia with a nepalese passport living in the UK?

I have got a british ILR (indefinate leave to remain) with nepalese passport. Would i get a travel visa for australia?

Your visa application must of course be based on your Nepalese passport, but if you can show that you have substantial ties to the UK (made possible by your ILR) and if you have no criminal convictions, you should have no trouble obtaining a tourist visa for Australia. Our immigration people simply want to be sure that you will leave Australia before your visa expires and if you have a job, accommodation and other ties to the UK, they will be satisfied that you won't overstay.

You will also need a return or onward ticket and sufficient funds to cover all of your expenses during your stay.
