or a nice christmas saying people say to each other. my friends cantonese and i wanted to make her a card for christmas. wondered if anyone could help me with this. thank you

I don't know how to pronounce it in Cantonese, but the traditional characters for "Merry Christmas" are

聖誕節快樂

In Mandarin, it would be pronounced "Shèng​ dàn jié​ kuài​ lè​"

The easiest way to pronounce it in Cantonese will be something like this

Sing Dan Five Lock (Sing Dan Fi Loc)

An other way to spell it is this

Seng Dan Fai Lok
