Lenghth of Passport reqirement?

I am going on a day trip to france (from uk ). I only have one month left on my current passport is that enough.

Since you did not state the origin of your passport I can only answer in general.

U.K. EU passport holders just need a valid passport to travel to France; no further requirements on the validation of the passport.

Should you hold a passport of a visa exempted overseas country (f.e. Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Canada, United States, and others) it needs to be valid during your proposed stay in France.

Should you have a passport of a visa requiring country it must be valid for at least three month beyond your proposed stay.

    Should be fine. Some countries insist on a full six months left on your passport before travelling. I doubt that the French government will do this, or else they would not get the massive trade that they currently do.. If you are still unsure, contact the British Embassy, who will give you the current passport requirements for visiting France.. Enjoy your trip..
