Is there on street parking in Canterbury, UK?

I am planning on driving to Canterbury and need somewhere to park my van near to St Georges Street and the Center of town in general.

Is there any FREE on street parking where I can leave it over night during the week?

Any details of suitable roads etc would be appreciated.

was there a few months ago - there is very little on street parking and a huge residents permit only zone - there are a few pay and display car parks dotted around that you'll probably end up in. Most of the hotels use these
