Health and safety regulations have been breached at college?

In the canteen, the section where they make sandwiches, paninis etc. The part where they serve hot food, the dinnerladies seem to be careful, but the sandwich section, the lady who makes them doesn't wear gloves. She handles money, and then touches the bread, money is one of the most germ covered things! Also, the spatula type thing used to pick up meat salad etc, she uses the same one for all meats, which I'm sure can cause cross-contamination? Even if not, the chicken still ends up smothered in pork and vice-versa. I actualy sat through one lunch break and observed, and not once did I see her wash her hands, though she passes the sink a lot, amongst many other things. We have like this college student rep thing, and that's who were supposed to tell. She passed it on to the head, but I've a good feeling not much will get done. How else would I deal with this? Have you ever had to? What would happen if I called an inspector?

Just don't go to that station. It's gross, but they probably won't enforce it.

If you called the health inspector then they would send someone to investigate your allegations. At the sandwich making stage all the meats will have been cooked so there is no risk of cross contamination. The health risk in handling food and money is almost negligible. I think you are over reacting here. Try worrying less and have a happier life.
