I have been learning Finnish,but I don't know well,
What image do you have of Finland?
I personally image , moomin.sauna,....

My grandparents lived in Finland. We used to spent two weeks a year there( in the summer).
Everyone appeared well educated, and bilingual. The cities and towns were neat and clean ( no litter) and the countryside was something out of a picture book.
Finnish is a hard language to learn, and even though I was subjected to it, I never really learned to speak it properly.

Clean, tidy, cold, heavy drinking, dark, fir trees

Countryside, vaguely scary - boring and clinically oppressive towns.

Blonde people, nakedness, saunas

Never been - so I may be entirely wrong!!

Lots of forests and lakes.

Snow and ice, superb architecture old and new, old Romanoff palaces, tiny population, ancient minorities like the Sami living like Eskimoes and Aleuts, wealth and plenty and education and the height of development and beauty but stagnant economic growth because of the crash, rising crime of a distinct complexion, and stifling politically correct police.

A place full of lakes...

Cities and countryside, Nokia phones, Sibelius, Sauna, the homeplace of Santa Claus and Lordi, no mountains, Lapland, northern lights, lots of relatively unspoilt nature (lakes, forests...), all four seasons, booze problem amongst minors, etc. It's realism for me because I live in Finland!
