What is your suggestion for a long trip in an aeroplane,international.?

what kind of stuffs should I be carrying or would make my journey joyful. I am thinking of not taking my laptop but should I carry it?

Unless your laptop has long battery life, it will not be helpful to you on the plane. It also makes you slower to get through security if you have to take it out and put it on a separate tray, so unless you need it at your destination, I wouldn't bring it.

Instead, bring an mp3 player of sorts (headphones also useful for watching any movies showing in the plane), and a book. I generally also bring a book of puzzles (crossword, sudoku, ken ken, etc). If you're flying overnight (or planning on napping), a neck pillow is helpful.

I always take a book and my own headphones. Most flights have tv programmes, games and films to watch on demand. You could also take an ipod or handheld games console.

Noise cancelling headphones, preferrably Bose which cost £250 ($400). But they are the dogs' bollox!

And travel business class if you can afford it!

Take an MP3 player, and a PSP if you have one.
A book or a magazine is good too.
And buy a bottle of water in the terminal.
I normally wear a hoodie too, so I can cover my eyes & go to sleep.
