Where should I take a 15 year old girl in London?

My 15 year old (going on 25) sister is coming from somerset to London this weekend and am stuck for simple preferably free ideas of where to take her.

I would like to take her into the city as she doesn't come often, but don't have the money to take her to the usual tourist things that cost a lot of money, I was thinking the science museum and maybe natural history - but there is the risk of boredom and athough she would like a couple of hours in a museum, I want to vary it.

Does anyone have any ideas???

Thank you in advance

I agree that a lot of the tourist things in London are expensive. It's fun to walk along the south bank and just look at the Thames, people watch and laugh at the tourists.

You could get some chips to eat in Leicester Square and hang around there if it's no raining, plenty to see. Go for a walk round Chinatown (nest to Leicester Square). Wander into Soho, get lost a little bit (make sure you have your A-Z with you for this bit). Then go for a lovely hot chocolate with marshmallows to warm up. Try on hats in the shops or markets, see if there's any buskers in Leicester Square.

The Science museum is fun as is the Natural History Museum and if she gets bored, you can always hop on the tube or bus and go somewhere else.
