How do foreigners & other countrys view britain (england)?

I often hear alot of people saying how much other countrys hate britain but they gave me some stupid reasons to be honest... one was the eurovision song contest (which is music competition in europe) just because the united kingdom didn't get alot of points from the phone-ins.

But i'm curious to know if other countrys do actually like the UK the culture and the people ?

Or are the british ignorant and rude to foreigners and other countrys around the world.

I looove England, I spent a couple of months in the west midlands and just loved their people, customs and landscapes.
The stereotype in my country Mexico is that british are very formal and serious, but the fact is that they are funny and outgoing, every chance I have I make that clear :D

Are you joking? The British people are the friendliest in Europe! As for culture and history, there if few places that can beat the history of the british isles with the monarchy, etc.. London is one of the most cosmopolitan capital in Europe.

Sorry if you compare England to Germany or France , it is a third world country.
The Health care is horrible , you have to wait so much time to see a doctor and most of them are unskilled.
The roads and the trains are in a very bad shape (it is poorly efficient if you compare to the DeutschBahn or the SNCF.
The education is catastrophic, college is exepensive (it is free in Germany and France) secondary schools are a jock.
The countryside and the weather are ... most of the english never take their holidays in their home country.
    The food is...english !
The economy used to be fake with a big bubble based on real estate, the banks and the City, and the oil from the north sea.
There are no industries, no cars made by england like Volkswagen, Audi, BMW, Fiat, Peugeot, Renault, Citroen, Volvo.
People are always drunk and crime is very high, liters are everywhere.
Girls get pregnant when they are 10
The english are the worst in foreign languages in the world, they know nothing, they are not interested by other cultures.
Their country is tiny and overpopulated
Well THANK GOD i am NOT ENGLISH
"Mon dieu et mon droit" NOT TO BE ENGLISH !!

I would like very much to visit England but my European (Hungarian) husband has absolutely no interest in visiting England.
He once had to spend the night in London because his flight to the US was delayed, he was very angry to have to be there.
I really don't know what his unreasonable dislike for England is.
My eldest sister lived in England for over 10 years and loved it.
My husband on the other hand doesn't feel there is anything to see there, at least he would rather visit anywhere else.

Every country around the world worships, adores, and positively idolises Britain. They aren't told about things like chavs, feral youth, political correctness and excessive health & safety laws

Of course it is not compulsory to visit Britain but you should try it and you may be pleasantly surprised. Yes, the British are bad at learning languages, the main reason being that English is the international language for air and sea communications and so many people speak it. The British are, on the whole, mostly well travelled and do realise there is a world outside. The population has a very high percentage of passport holders to prove this. Britain is a very cosmopolitan country and, in fact, in London you may actually have difficulty in finding a British person serving in bars, hotels and restaurants. The British will only be rude to foreigners if they come to their country with preconceived stereotyped ideas about them and then complain loudly because 'things are different'.
