I don't know why you worry about the size of the plane or what you would call "big". Depending on the length of your flight, take a book, MP3 player,DS or similar and a puzzle book maybe. There may be a chance to watch a movie or TV show.

Try sleeping or cat napping and on long flights over two hours have a walk round the cabin from time to time. Don't over eat on the flight if you are going to try to sleep.

Do not get drunk or take drugs before a flight as the airline can refuse to carry you on safety grounds if they think you are intoxicated. While in the air, water is the best thing to drink.

You don't say weather your question means's you actually Fly the plane as the pilot or as a passenger..

I would find it hard to fly too, perhaps training as a pilot will help?
