Dublin city directions.How far is grafton street from dame street?and how far is heuston station from dame st?

I'll need to know roughly how long these routes will take on foot(time).cheers.

It depends on which part of Grafton Street you will begin your journey. Look at the map

http://www.dublinmapped.com/ - a clearer map. You can pull it to the right until you see Heuston Station beside the river.

This second map only identifies the major one way streets, and Grafton Street (pedestrianised) is not named. It is shown as the thin street at the corner of St. Stephen's Green (but you will have seen it on the first map). If you are starting here, allow 10 mins to walk to the other end of Grafton Street, another 10 mins to go along Dame Street, 3 mins more to cross down Parliament Street to get to the Liffey, turn left and 20 mins more to walk to Heuston Station. The station is at the sixth bridge after you turn left. I have walked it, and it takes a bit longer than you'd expect. Best part of 45 minutes from St. Stephen's Green, but a bit less if you start from the bottom end of Grafton Street. It is a pleasant walk if you are not tied to time.

Grafton street is close enough to dame street, about 3-5 mins, and to heuston station from dame street head towards the liffey and go east along it, you should get there about 10 mins.

The bottom of Dame Street and the bottom of Grafton Street are connected by Suffolk Street. It will take 2 or 3 minutes to walk the length of Suffolk St.
At the top of Dame Street, turn right down Parliament Street onto the Quays. Turn left and continue walking all along the quays for 15 minutes until you reach Kingsbridge. Hueston Station ( formerly Kingsbridge Station ) will be in front of you.

Grafton Street to Dame Street is less than 5 minutes, depending on where on Dame Street you want to be.

Heuston Station is a bit further away, but the easiest way to get to Heuston station from Dame Street is to walk up Westmoreland Street, cross the river and go on up O'Connell Street until you get to Abbey Street, and take the LUAS (tram system) to Heuston Station. All going well, you'll be there inside 10 minutes from boarding.

Check the google map link I give. Dame St changes name to College Green and that runs into Trinity College. College Green and Grafton are at a right angle - all 3 roads are coloured green in the map.
