Have you ever escaped from a psychiatric ward?

If you had been sectioned (not admitted on a voluntary basis), have you ever managed to get out of the secure unit?

Yes, only once though. I was at Llyn Y Groes at the Maelor hospital in Wrexham on a locked ward. One of the nurses didn't lock the main door to the ward properly which I noticed by pure chance whilst on the way to the tv room. I went back to my room and got my wallet and just walked out. I went into town to Wetherspoons and had a couple of pints, after half an hour 2 police came in and took me back. I was grassed up by the bar staff......as I was in my pyjama's. Doh!

Yes, it was hard but I finally got out of my parents house when I was 17.

No. Its impossible to escape out of there. You have better chance escaping from prison than the nuthouse.
