Can u see a major city from ur home outside the city itelf>?

If so what city can u see??how far in miles or km are u from it???
and can u see any major city landmark from ur home e.g a skyscraper ect,,,
Im asking this question to people outside of the city area in the nearby countryside or suburbs:)

On a clear day, from my home I can see Canary Wharf Tower in London.

I live outside London. I am about 20 miles from the building
