Would love to live in America? Where to start?

Question

I live in the UK just now but I have always wanted to live in America , I have also got some family over there. But I really don't know where to start ? Ive heard it can be quite difficult , please help ?

Yeah but the only thing is, I read it has to be immediate family that's over there like your mum or dad to get over easier, but it's my auntie and cousins that are there. So think i'll need to go through with the visa thing :-( Thank's for taking the time to help me :-D

Ohh... why do you want to live in America? i live in America, well Mexico and i prefer UK haha i love it, well if you want to go to live to America ->CANADa you'll need a Visa and already a "life" there, i mean, a job, a house, etc. (quite difficult) USA you'll need a Visa and a job too, not that difficult like Canada but... youll need to have a lot of papers..... MEXICO... i think only a job... or maybe no hahaha ...... and south america really i dont know but everywhere is fine

I think you need to get a Visa to live over there, and you will need to find a place to live and a job. You could ask your relatives for advice, they are bound to know about moving to the US and living there etc. :)

oh good, you have family! the one thing i know about being able to move here is:
a- you need some sort of visa
b- if you have family here, they can sponsor you to live here you dont have to go through getting a visa, which i heard is nearly impossible.

you have b so get info on how to get them to sponsor you!

You either have a parent, brother or sister in the US sponsor you, marry a US citizen or you get an employer to sponsor you. For the last, you need a degree in engineering or the like.

Or you become a world famous entertainer in the UK.
