They are both Islamic countries. Algeria is on the North African Coast whilst Lebanese are from Eastern Mediterranean

We are both quite similar, we are open minded, french educated, civilised, a lot of educated writers and poets come from those countries,(also from Morocco and Tunisia), who write in both languages in arabic and french and some in english, we both like fashion and cultural things, like music and art festivals, we both have a group of fanatics that try to spoil our culture, but historically a bit different, millions (1 million and a half) of Algerian poeple died fighting for the independance of their country, while alot of lebanese poeple died (and still are) during civil wars and resisting the israel occupation. We both love Cheb Khaled! and after the recent stunt, majority of us hate nancy agrab!

The difference is Lagerian are Berber , they are not arabic, Libanon they are. so this is the fundemental difference.
