If you have recently moved from the UK to Australia, is it a good life overthere, is it affordable.?

I heard that it is less than Europe specailly in Human Rights and discriminating between male and female. Is it true. Which part is the best. And is it easy for British to move there and find a good job.

i have many australian relatives and friends who were formerly English, and i too am planning on moving there if i can when i am older. there are jobs out there asking specifically for British educated people, and you don't need an amazing job like a lawyer to live a good life and get a good job. You can get a really nice 4 bedroom house out there for around £200,000. The life that my friends have out there sounds amazing, they say the country is soo clean and if they had known how good Australia was they would have moved out there years ago. I am not very old and don't really know about the rights and law out there, but what i have found from other people and seeing it for myself many times is that you can live an amazing life out there as long as you can adapt to the casual life (which most people will do very eagerly!) and learn and think through the decisionon then you can have an amazing life out there. The country is so empty and if you wait until the currency rate picks up, you can have a fun, great affordable life (although the jobs don't nesassarily pay as much, you must compare the money to the cost of the australian goods). hope this helped! :)
