What is the best hotel to stay at in Las Vegas?

We are going there for my 30th but cant choose what hotel to stay at.

The definition of "best" certainly varies person to person.

Some of the really nice resorts are Wynn/Encore, Venetian/Palazzo, and Bellagio. They are all very classy (and pricey) hotels - very nice though! Caesars is not quite up to the same standards as these, but it's also a great place and one of my very favorites; it also isn't quite as expensive.

If you're looking for something priced a little lower, check out MGM and Mandalay Bay. Mirage is also a nice place. I think NYNY is a fun place, and it's pretty nice and priced well.

Try Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort it's a 5 star luxury resort hotel or maybe Bellagio or Four Seasons Las Vegas either way they are all good resort luxury 5 star hotels

Caesars Palace. Hands down. Beautiful hotel. Beautiful pools (including the topless Venus Pool). Beautiful roman spa. It's perfect. I will never stay anywhere else.

Aria and Vdara http://mgmmirage.com/ may also be good options since they're brand new luxury hotels in MGM Mirage's CityCenter... no gimmicks like pirates, mummies, clowns, etc.

and when I checked their rates yesterday it was $180 for two nights in mid December (compared to $350 for Encore and $300 for Caesars Augustus Tower) but they're also giving $100 resort credit on certain dates. So you'd actually pay $40 per night for two nights which is incredible. Having stayed at both MB and Encore in the past year I can tell you they aren't that much different; the rooms are nearly identical.

Encore's rooms are slightly larger and have remote controls for the drapes, lights, and "Do not disturb" sign. The rooms at both hotels offer a giant flat panel TV mounted on the wall, floor to ceiling windows, fridge stocked with drinks, in room snacks, and dual sinks in the bathroom plus a 2nd TV built into the bathroom mirror.

If you have been to Egypt or have an Egyptian interest go to Luxor, it shows you what it must have been like!
Make sure you ask for the pyramid, they have 2 anonymous black glass "standard" hotels in the back lot and if you don't know/ask you end up there!

We stayed at the MGM Grand for our honeymoon in July this year and it was an amazing hotel. We stayed mid week and got a great price for a very cool room in the West Wing. Even wrote about it on our blog www.globalgrasshopper.com

You should go on the site http://www.hotel.16euro.com, write the city
and the period in which you want to go there and press Search. When
did the research put the hotel in order by price or distance from the
center, or what have you ... If you have preferences on the left of
the page are some additional options such as parking, pool, sauna,
etc.

I assure you that this is the best site I found and it is good.

For me it is MGM and Mandalay Bay but it depends on the budget. I would check the current hotel promotions on http://www.vegas-hotels-online.com , this can save a lot of money. Then I would make my decision.

It depends what star you want, I stayed in the luxor in august which is a four star and the imperial palace this November which is a 3 star!

I loved both great service and nice big rooms and bathrooms!

Try and choose something preferably in the middle if the strip that's what I loved with the imperial palace!

Depending on your budget there are many places, if you want a low cost hotel Circus Circus is very good value, but if you want something more expensive then the Bellagio.
