If Scotland left the UK?

Would it still be in the Visa Waiver Programme?

Not unless they specifically joined.

The UK is part of the visa waiver programme as a whole. If Scotland left the UK, then it would no longer be part of the programme.

Yes. But as it will not leave the UK, it cannot afford to, it is moot.

Who knows? However, I don't think you need to worry about it in the near future.

Yes, but it's not going to leave the UK because a majority of Scots don't vote SNP and all the polls show a majority not in favour of independence.

Scotland would be instantly better off if it left the U.K why do you think the tories and new Liebour have been trying to bribe scots with concessions for decades...it has less than 1 tenth of the U.K population with 40% of natural resources in the U.K it has oil wealth that will last for at least 50years within the U.K but for hundreds if Scotland was independent..we have more than enough to support our population of 5 million but we have been getting our resources drained by the 57 million in the rest of the U.K ..eg the oil pays for the social security bill of the layabouts of England,,,and all the asylum seekers seeking a free lunch there, we have fishing ...science,agriculture and everything else ..and would be on a par with Norway or Denmark if we got independence..instead we are pulled down by the rest of the failing U.K ...Scotland would be the 13th wealthiesat nation instantly on earth if given independence today...and yes there would be a visa waiver programme if we went independent....
