I've got two weeks to spend in morocco in january/february. where would you go?

I want to see culture, architecture, and maybea bit of beach. I'd like to have two bases (perhaps casablanca and marakeck), and go on day trips. any advice would be appreciated.

Sorry Asmaa, I couldn't resist but assuming the asker starts her day at the reasonable time of 8am.

Let's go through your proposed schedule:

Casablanca in one day

1 hour at the Hassan II Mosque - It's now 9:30am (assuming some traffic)
2 hours at bab Marrakech (12pm with traffic, parking, ...)
3 hours shopping at maarif (it's probably 4pm if we add lunch)
3 hours on the beach (the sun sets at about 5:30 pm and it's probably chilly by then - So the beach is out)
Note: I know I would be exhausted by now. By let's say the asker is Wonder Woman and is still going:
go to Medina kdima for shopping let say 2 hours. (Driving to M'dina in rush hour traffic, getting there at 6 + 2 hours shopping. It is 8pm)
go eat one hour at the famous sea food restaurant. (Which famous seafood restaurant? The lady is probably beat; She need a bath and sleep)

then after 4 pm go to the beach,take a little bit of sun,for an hour or 2,than 7 pm go home take shower change (4pm ?! Forget the shower! zzzzz.....

eat something little like a snack,fix your hair makeup (zzzzz.....

10 pm go down in the hotel and get a drink to get motivated,flirt with the waiter who looks like orlando bloom,give him your phone number,go back up,refresh ,a little touch up then go out to the club ,have fun. (I have yet to see anyone who looks like Orlando Bloom and hails from Morocco. No offense, there's nothing special about the guy, zzzzzzzz.....


next day. (zzzzz.......

wake up get ready to take a trip to marakech do the same thing all over again. ( It's 11:30 am. The front desk is probably calling asking the lady if she's staying another night. zzzzzzz......

Umm... you know it's cold there in winter right? So like the beach is out of the question. So, I would say cities and the desert. I think in 2 weeks you can do it all. Why on earth don't you reschedule for spring time? April-June..

instead of Casablanca why don't you go to Fez,Souira or Agadir these cities have a lot to offer and very exiting than Casa.
