Anybody tell me what Malta is like for a holiday. What the prices are like eating out, tabacco?

It's very historic. There's loads to see and do and the Maltese people are very friendly.
Eating out is very cheap you can get a full English breakfast for 2-3 euros and a pint for 1 euro. Accommodation is a bit hit and miss and their 3* is not what we would class as 3*
I go 4 times a year and am going for Xmas and New Year. It's cheaper than staying at home and the weather is better
Cigarettes are half the price they are in U.K. but tobacco is only just cheaper

crap. the prices fro eating out areusualy around 9 grand. the people there lick you if you look at them. and the tabacco is invisible. and the pubs are made of straw hay. and you die if you sleep. dont go. just...dont.

It depends what your looking for in a holiday and when you are going. Accommodation is not bad, eating out is very reasonable. Unfortunately there is a lot of development going on in Malta at the moment and is resembles a very big building site.
