I m an indian passport holder,travelling to Egypt:via jordan,do i need a transit visa for jordan?

No you may transit without visa provided you
• continue your trip to a third country by the same or first connecting flight
• hold confirmed onward tickets with reserved seats
• hold all required documents for your next destination
• do not leave the airport if the transit time is less than 6 hours
• leave the airport if the transit time is 6-24 hours and leave your passport at the immigration desk (airline companies can arrange this). In connection with the outbreak of influenza A(H1N1), you will need to complete arrival forms before going through the immigration control and undergo a medical check upon arrival.
