Samsung sim card problems?

When I get my orange sim card out of my other phone, and try and put into my Samsung e900, which is on Vodaphone, I put the batteries back in ect but when I turn on my samsung it says invalid sim card. Whats the problem?

Additional Details

Also when it has it's normal sim card, it says Limited service. I bought it myself from Costco, so it's not stolen..

The phone is probably under a different service than you have. you need to get it flashed to your service.

limited service is a common error message on samsung handsets. but also the sim card would of been paired to work with your other phone so it may not allow you to get access to the network - as you can see. only thing you can try is manually searching for the network.
