Plymouth Accommodation - any ideas?

I am working in Plymouth for a few days next week and need somewhere to stay.

I don't want to stay in a grot hole and I would rather not stay in a main stream hotel. Does anyone know of any good characterful accommodation for no more than say £70 a night. I can travel up to half an hour if necessary

thanks

Hi - try the Enjoy England website for nice places to stay around Plymouth. You can find quality assessed guest house accommodation from £25 a night:

Check out The Bowling Green (four stars), which offers lovely single rooms for £42 a night - breakfast included:

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely show you great hotels at the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.
