Anyone flew from London to Male (Maldives)? How was the flight?

I am flying in 3 weeks time from Gatwick to Male with British Airways and Im very scared of turbulence :)). Anyone knows if its likely to have turbulence on that route? Thanks Xxx

We flew via Colombo, so not quite a direct flight. A long flight but uneventful.
Turbulence can occur on any flight, anywhere; it just depends on the weather conditions but most common at lower altitudes. You often feel a little turbulence passing through cloud on take off or landing. The worst we've ever had was on the shortest flight; London to Amsterdam.

not sure about that route but i went from manchester-dubai-maldives and the flight was fine ghad no turbulence that was this time last year aswell i am going back in 5 weeks time

As mentioned, turbulence can occur at anytime, and is not necessarily related to the time of year or particular route of a flight. You are in safe hands with BA.
