I am an indian citizenworked in dubai uae with a private firm , and there is a valid resident permit in my?

pasport. now am in qatar with a business visit visa. my qustionn is there is any problem for stamping permenent resident visa for qatar? because somebody told me if there is other country valid visa in passport it is not possible to get a job visa in qatar

You are allowed to work for one sponsor only. Unless you work for the same sponsor in different countries, one residence visa needs to be canceled first before you obtain a new one. Otherwise you violate GCC rules.
