Any injections needed for Cuba or the Dominican Republic?

It's still going to be while off before we decide which destination and resort cos we wouldn't be going until Feb 2011, but can anyone who's been to either place advise me what injections (if any) would be needed for Cuba or the Dominican Republic?

I'm 27 and my boyfriend is 33, we are both healthy with no problems like diabetes or asthma that would mean extra health precautions. We've both had all the usual jabs as babies and kids, but can't remember having any since about 14 or 15 years old.

I didnt have any, went last year. I think if you are going out to the sticks you may want to seek some medical advice but if you are going to a resort or big city you should be fine. Being careful regarding what you eat & drink and the heat are important though. I'm not implying their food is dodgy, just that being careful abroad is common sense or did I just turn in to my mother?
