Tube @ Liverpool Street station - London?

Question

Hi, I'm heading to London for a concert in a few weeks and am really nervous about travelling on the tube at night (have to use it as staying in hotel at Liverpool Street Station and taxi from hammersmith to there would be wayyy to expensive!). Is it kinda safe to be using the tube around 11-11.30pm? And what is the area around the station like as my hotel is about half a mile from it? PS I'm a woman and I'll be travlling alone ... ahhhh lol

Nothing in the world is 100% safe but a lot has to do with yourself.

How you dress, what you are carrying with you too.

So take sensible precautions. Remember that there are CCTV cameras everywhere these days so stay visible and very likely after the event there will also be others going your way too, try and stick with a crowd.

If you feel uncomfortable, then take a cab for that last half mile. 00

I have been to England Numerous times and i would say that Liverpool Station is pretty safe and you have nothing to worry about! there would be people on the road and all.. so your all good.

No problem. The tube is safe and a walk to your hotel fine too.

at that time of night there are always loads of people about, I do it all the time, you can always sit in the first carriage next to the train operators cab for reassurance.

You'll be just fine. There is a help point on every platform on the Tube network at each station.

Stay with the crowd as much as possible. There is plenty of security, worry not.

The area near Liverpool St is pretty safe, the tube is usually fairly busy at that sort of time - people leaving pubs, you should be fine .

Tube is fine as there are loads of people about. If you are worried coming out of station and getting to your hotel, take a taxi from station. Central London doesn't really sleep. It's only the outlying districts which quieten during the night. You'll be amazed at the number of people around late at night in London. Enjoy your concert.
