I love it here. There are wonderful people, great food, interesting art & architecture & music, and beautiful scenery. There are so many good festivals that it would take a much of lifetime to visit them all. I plan on going to the truffle festival in San Miniato this weekend if it isn't still raining and the Christmas markets start at the end of the month. It's very easy to get out and explore on the weekends using the trains.

I agree with all the people that say it is a lovable country BUT:

-I hate its politics ( above all the Prime Minister, a criminal that should be arrested)

-I hate the Vatican interference in the Italian politics, the Pope has his own state ( Vatican City) but Italian politicians are allowing him to rule also Italy...

-Mafia, no need to comment...

-Conflict of Interests... In no other modern democracy the Prime Minister controls (directly or indirectly) the 90% of the national mass media...

Not to mention other problems that are common also in other Nations ( public debt, unemployment, high prices etc etc)
