Can you do work experience as an Cabin Crew?

I really want to be a air hostess but i have to study Travel and Tourism for at least 1 or 2 years then extra 2-3 years training... However i want to work as air hostess at age of 18-19. Is there any way like how i can skip these extra years?

You could get a copy of the book on www.workinginaviation.com and work out if you would have enough free time to be able to do both. T & T courses are not very rigorous - and this could be why many employers don't rate them highly - so if you have also worked as cabin crew whilst getting your degree, this could go in your favour.

You can work as Cabin Crew at 18 in the UK as that's you legal to serve alcohol, and obviously you have to be 18 for the safety/security aspects. You may be able to do the job and study - I only work around 10 days per month doing it and have plenty spare time. You wouldn't be allowed to do it for work experience simply because you'd have to go through the full intensive training course for any airline to allow you to be in the air, but I believe it might be possible for you to actually do the job whilst gaining your qualifications. Good luck!
