I think the two of the hottest places are Death Valley in California, USA and the Dead Sea, between Jordan and Israel. Take your pick. Both areas are well below sea level, and conditions can be quite hostile. The Dead Sea would probably be more pleasant for a holiday, the natural dissolved salts in the water are beneficial to health, and there is no water in Death Valley.
Temperatures: Death Valley, December average 39F - 65F, July, 88F - 115F
Dead Sea, winter average 68F to 73F, summer, 90F - 102F.
Both places are in the Northern Hemisphere, so it is currently winter temperatures at both, and not of the hottest. You could try any of the deserts in Africa, Australasia, or South America (it is summer in the Southern Hemisphere), but the downside is that temperatures aren't constant, very high in the day, but freezing at night.
