While the GO Train week-end service from Toronto to Niagara Falls actually stop operating after Canadian Thanksgiving on October 12th, 2009, there is a GO bus that will take you to Niagara Falls - the catch you have to take the GO train to Burlington to connect with the GO bus to Niagara Falls.

I'm not sure if the special GO train week-end service will be reinstated next year, but anyways, here's the schedule for the GO bus to Niagara Falls from Burlington: http://www.gotransit.com/publicroot/en/s…

As the other poster states, there is a VIA train to Niagara Falls, but it's more cost-prohibitive than the GO bus.

The GO Train route from Toronto to Niagara Falls actually ceased on October 12th, 2009. (This is the first year they have implemented this route and I sure the schedule will be expanded in the future based on their success this summer.)

However, they do also offer a GO Bus trip from Toronto to Niagara Falls (with the first leg of the trip being via Train to Burlington GO Station and continuing from there on to Niagara Falls.) The schedule varies depending on what day you travel - weekday or weekend. Check it out:

VIA Rail runs two trains a day from Toronto (Union Station) to Niagara Falls. The morning train from Toronto continues as an Amtrak train to New York Penn Station. There is an Amtrak train from NYC to Toronto that passes through Niagara Falls in the afternoon but I don't think it picks up passengers there. The evening train returns from Niagara Falls the next day.

wtf is a train. Here in Canada we only travel by moose and beaver sleds. Then we go home and warm up in our igloos while sipping a nice glass of maple syrup.
