Show me another »What clothing should I wear in Senegal? I'm going backpacking and it will be hot but I don't want to offend?

My friends went this summer and wore t-shirts and pants/shorts. The women there mostly wear dresses, but I don't think you'll offend anyone by wearing comfortable backpacking clothes. They experienced some misogyny, but it had nothing to do with what they were wearing. The country is primarily Muslim, but I don't believe they wear scarves or anything, and I saw some pictures of women with bare shoulders.
