Do underground trains drivers suffer from depression?

i was wondering...cause they cant see the sunlight often plus when i looked at them they looked miserable

Only if they suffer from SAD.

Otherwise, they're probably just like the rest of us - underpaid and unhappy in our job!

Also, imagine how depressed it would make you if someone threw themselves in front of your train. Seeing that happen would be enough to make anyone miserable and it happens more frequently than you might imagine.

No because unlike bus drivers they don't have to deal directly with the travelling public.

I'll be honest, if I was a train driver, I'd be a bit depressed after a while.
