it costs £58.60. but there are two changes, one change is at Manchester Piccadilly and the second change is at Carlisle. first you catch the transpennine express to manchester piccadilly then you change trains then you catch another transpennine express to carlisle then from carlisle you change trains to catch the scotrail to dumfries. it takes about 3.30 hours to get to dumfries.
