I'm going to Vegas in Sept 2010 should I book now or are holiday prices likely to come down if I wait ?

I'm going with my boyfriend and wondered if I should book before Jan 2010 as VAT is going up, will this effect the price of holidays? I'll prob book through lastminute.com, are the prices likely to come down nearer the time of the holiday or am I better off booking it now ?? Thanks

Hi there,

If I could just make a suggestion - book the hotel and airfare seperate, thats how you get the cheaper deals. British Airways should have a great sale on in January...you dont say where you are from...if from the UK and you dont mind if you dont fly direct Continental usually have some pretty good flight prices. I
f you see a good price on your flights and you no the dates you want to travel I would go ahead and book. Please make sure that there is no big conventions on at the time of your travel as this could double the prices of hotels.
You can get amazing deals booking direct with the hotels, as there are lots of promo codes coming out all the time, check out -

www.smartervegas.com

Most promo codes are direct with the hotel and most of them are fully refundable if you cancel 48/72hours before the date of the reservation (make sure of this before booking, it will state it) and you only need to pay the 1st night as your deposit.
