a weekly zone 1-2 travel card on oyster is £25:80 plus £3 deposit.(deposit recoverable if and when you surrender your oyster card).

You basically have two choices, purchase a standard Oyster Card for £2 with £10 cread = £12, and then top up as you need to through the week, this way could be cheaper than a travel card option for Zone 1-2 depending on how many trips in Z1-2 you intend to do each day, prices for single trips are £2.20 peak time and £1.60 off peak. A 7day travel card can be ordered with your Oyster card for £25.80, so just 3 journeys a day and this is the cheaper option.
